The Inaugural Debate Series convened on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Smithsonian’s Baird Auditorium in the Museum of Natural History. This site hosts photos, video, and audio from the event, as well as links to media coverage.

The event featured the following three debates:

Debate #1: Energy and Climate Change
Michigan State University vs. Wake Forest University

Debate #2: Health Care and the Economy
University of Mary Washington vs. the University of Southern California

Debate #3: Foreign Policy
Fayetteville State University vs. Voorhees College
